too tired to come up with a cute heading...

So, today I'm rather tired; this is going to be a short one. Pandy's still in the hospital, and will be in until Monday at the earliest. The doctore plans to keep her until the meds are having the desired effect. Pandy has a couple of issues as well besides the blood clots in the lungs; her nurses have said something about her body being a mess right now, so she's going to be a while before she's back up to normal. Was up there yesterday for almost all of the visiting hours, but won't be able to go up again due to work for at least a few days.

Other than that, the shift leader positions have been talked about in our weekly team meeting now, and should be opening up soon, so may finally get what i've been working towards for soo long! We shall see what comes, but for now, need to continue trundling through my day.

after Kennywood

So we went to Kennywood yesterday for our work picnic, took my brother and 2 friends, and all was well, all was fun. We were there for 11 hours, which included both a lot of rides and a lot of walking, so I feel safe in saying I got my exercise yesterday :-) I'm still a bit tired today, but nothing too horrible to survive, which is good, since I still have much to do when we get home from work.

Rides ridden: Garfields Nightmare (lame), Jack Rabbit (A+); Raging Rapids (soaked through), Thunderbolt (A+); Phantom's Revenge (A+); Pittsburgh Plunge (soaked back); Bumper Cars (A+); Noah's Ark (really changed over the years); and others that I currently can't remember.

Unrelated news: I've added more to my photo's; I haven't updated everything yet, since there's a monthly limit to how much I can add, but there is new stuff. I'm planning on going through the photos and captioning them to the best of my ability, though that may take some time since there are many, especially in the Phipps area. It may get completed sometime this year, as it's at the bottom of the "to do" list.

And my boyfriend's divorce is now legally done!!!!! I'm really quite happy, as you can prob. tell, but I wasn't when he opened the letter, and I saw that they had the wrong first name for him on the divorce decree. I mean, after everything else we've already had to go through, this just wasn't funny at all. But, he spoke with the courthouse, and they are sending him a new decree, with the proper information, so all is well - he's officially divorced :-)

We've been doing a lot of stuff lately, and are starting to really get our lives on track. We're working on paying off all of our combined bills, and getting time to vacation together. We still are doing well, even with living, commuting, and working together, we don't have fights, and still enjoy our time together, which is truly refreshing for us both.

Both of us are dieting (me a bit more then he is), and my goal is to lose about 40 lbs by the end of the year, where as he wants to lose about 10 lbs last I checked.

Aside from that, Pandy, her fiance, and the two of us are going to Gettysburg this weekend, and camping over night, which should be a lot of fun! I haven't been camping since the Forsaken campout, so am looking forwad to this a great deal. I also used it as an excuse to buy more camping equipment, since you can never have enough :P I'm sure I'll feel differently if we start bakpacking, but for now....

In other news, we have invited our familes for Thanksgiving, and have already gotten a couple of RSVP's back, which is nice. Most of both of our families live out of state, and we wanted to give them as much time as possible to arrange their schedules if needed, and decide whether they wanted to travel or not :-)

Lastly, since my thoughts are all over the place tonight - it's been a hectic evening here at work - I have gotten all of the film I have currently shot developed, and plan on putting more pictures on my flickr soon, including the rolls from my last trip to Seattle :-)
