Vacation time

Whoot! I have some fun things to look forward to now. I get to go visit my family and friends out in Seattle this week, which will be fun, as we'll be going to some places I haven't been to in years!! Some of my friends will be moving at the same time that I'm gone, which I get to miss out on, but I think they'll forgive me :P Two weeks later, Pandy and I are going to Gettysburg, since it's been a while since I was there, and I really enjoy ghosthunting down there. We're going to be staying at the Farnsworth house, but not in one of the haunted rooms unfortunately. But hey, it's still the Farnsworth house. One of my friends that was down there recently says they are changing the battlefield to make it look more like it would have looked during the war, by clearing out a lot of the trees, so I'm not sure what it's going to look like now, but it should still be good! A week and a bit after we're back from Gettysburg, I get to start my 3 week summer class, which should also be nice, though I am a bit worried about my kitties while I'm going, since I'll be living at the lab during the week. Other than that, since classes ended, I've been trying to come up with ways to keep myself busy, both at home and at work, since I need lots of stuff to do to keep me motivated. I've been working on some projects, both sewing and otherwise, been keeping my house cleaned, reading, watching anime again - I'm currently watching slayers try again, since it's been a while since I last watched it. Other than that, I've just been still trying to figure out what direction I want my life to go in. I haven't given up on grad school, but I'm also thinking of taking some classes in photography again, since it's always been one of my interests, and due to my job, I can take them for free, which is good. It's also been a while since I had classes, and I need to brush up on some basic skills with digital camaras, and with working on a computer. Also, my work is expanding, and I'm interested in moving into a supvisory role, since I'll end up bored very soon if I don't have more of a challenge here. Anyhow, that's it for now, since this is more of relaxation time for me!
